Pumpkin Muffins

Happy Tuesday! Let me start off by saying that I am not a huge fan of pumpkin anything (I'm more of a sweet potato fan, I could eat sweet potato anything throughout the year). I'm one of those people who have to be in the "mood" for it.  (which usually comes around from September-November). I had a can of pumpkin pie filling and decided to give a quick search on Pinterest for a recipe. I came across this super yummy recipe. I over cooked the muffins on purpose (I do not like mushy muffins). I also added a little more confectioner sugar to the frosting due to not liking the consistency. Overall, these babies were a huge hit in my home. I thought that they would be perfect to have on the go with coffee or tea. Especially with football Sunday.

Anywho, have you tried any new recipes lately?

Project 52 Fall (week 39 of 52)

Here's my submission for Project 52. One of the biggest perks about fall is Football season. Here are some pictures I captured at one of my sons football games. (he's number #28) I am usually too excited to actually take pictures while the game is in motion, and to my surprise. I captured a pretty good picture with the last image.

Faceless Portrait ( #Project52 week 38 of 52)

My submission for Project 52. I captured this picture in my backyard with the Mister's camera and a remote (or timer) Seeing how it's jacket and even some days winter coat season. It's nice to look back on the beautiful days of summer.

First Day of Autumn- Apple Crisp Recipe I'm Loving

Sunday while getting some items to prep my snacks for the week. I stopped at my local Stop & Shop. I went in for butter and came out with a bunch of staff. One of the items being two large apples. I really thought that the Mister was going to juice the apples. However, yesterday on a whim. I decided to make homemade apple crisp. I did a very quick search on Pinterest to find the easiest recipe, and I was lucky enough to find one. I had all of the ingredients, needed and only two large apples on hand and honestly that was good enough me.  (If you've been following my blog for a while now, you know if I don't have it on hand. I will go without the item and proceed on with the recipe.) Let me tell you, this Apple Crisp came out simply divine. I had to top it with vanilla ice cream and caramel syrup. The only thing I regret is not having homemade caramel sauce on hand.

Anywho, I thought this was the perfect way to start the first day of Autumn.

Project 52 Centered -week 37 of 52

(My oldest nephew is on the left, youngest in the middle and my baby Michael at the end)

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Here is my submission for this weeks Project 52. I found myself as the camera lady for my sister's wedding back in August. She got married at our local rose garden which I love... The weather was perfect. Plus Mister and I were able to capture those magical moments.

Boys H&M Shopping Haul

Happy Monday!

Sharing some "Back to School" items I was able to snag during the summer sale at H&M.  I'm not sure why it's so hard to "ball on a budget" while shopping for boys. However,  I try my best to know when all of my favorite stores have sales. Since my little guy entered middle school last year, we had to sadly stop shopping at GYMBOREE. Even though he could still fit the clothing. I didn't want him to get teased (kids can be so mean no days)... Last year I had to re-introduce myself to H&M. To be honest, the transition to H&M has been awesome.. He loves the clothing and I love the prices. Anywho, check out my haul!

My August Favorites (YouTube Video)

I can't believe we are midway in September (yikes) I could not let this month go by without sharing my August favorites.  I hope you guys enjoy the video... This was my second time creating a video on my iMac and let's just say I had no idea what I was doing. In the past, I usually use my iPhone or iPad. However, I really thought I was doing something by using the Mister's T3i camera. Even though we have no idea of where the remote is... Anywho, check out the video and the products that were mentioned.
